Quinn 5 Months

Our little Quinnie is 5 Months.  

Time is going by too fast!

I know I say this all the time but she really is so smiley!!!

 Some of her new talents are…

1. Sits by herself 
2. Rolls over both ways
3. Loves playing with her piano play mat
4. Bottom two teeth breaking through!
5. Blows bubbles
6. Loves bath time with her sister
7. Big enough to swing at the playground

Quinn 4 Months

I just can't believe it!  

Our little Q is 4 months old!

 This little angel is such a sweetheart!

 Stats from her 4 month checkup:

Height: 24.21inches (27%)

Weight: 13 lb 13.6 oz (34%)

Head: 42 cm (80%)

Quinn is the best little baby!
She loves to snuggle

and be on her tummy!

  Some of her new talents are...

1. Plays with her hands
2. Rolls onto her tummy (she hardly ever stays on her back now)
3. Sucks her middle fingers
4. Naps best by her mom (getting better about taking morning nap in pack n play)
5. Loves sleeping on her side
6. Started laughing this month
7. Has the biggest gummy smile
8. Likes to play more with her toys (balls are her favorite)

9. Makes a really high squeal when she's happy

Quinn 3 Months

This little bug turned 3 Months today!  

 She didn't have a checkup this month but her stats are approximately: 

Height: 24 inches

Weight: 12.5 lb 

Head: 41 cm

 Some new talents are...

1. Blows bubbles
2. Had some of her best blow outs (one all over her mom at church)
3. Getting on a more regular nap schedule during the day
4. Babbles full monologues to us
5. Likes sitting in her bumbo seat (Eden may like it even more)
6. She nuzzles her face into my chest when she starts to get tired
7. Still has bluish eyes (we think they may stay that way)
8. Loves mobiles (especially when she is playing with her sister in her crib)
9. Still hates her carseat but getting better (doesn't cry every time)
10. Loves playing and watching her sister

We love all of her smiles!

Quinn can be very serious;)

 She also knows she' s pretty cute!

Quinn 2 Months

Quinn turned 2 months this week

She is starting to show more of her cute little personality, which we love!

Height: 21.26 inches

Weight: 10 lb 13 oz

Head: 39 cm

1. Smiling a lot
2. Cooing
3. Doing kick offs during tummy time
4. Sucking her hand
5. Sleeping 4 hours between feedings at night
6. Has outgrown her newborn clothes
7. Can roll onto her side 
8. Sleeping better on her back
9. Started wearing her 0-3 month clothes
10. Enjoys bath time with her sister

This little lady loves to be held and on the move.  

She hates to lay or sit down.  She's been spending most of her time in her baby carriers while I get work down or run around after E.

Happy 2nd Month B-Day Quinn Quinn

Quinn 1 Month

This little lady is 1 month today.  I can't believe how fast it has gone by already.  She's had an eventful first month with lots of visitors and her first airplane ride to Utah.

Here are her stats from her check up:

Height: 21.06" (33%)

Weight: 9 lb 7.3 oz (44%)

Head 38 cm  (82%)

We call her mainly Quinn or Quinnie but some of her other nicknames are Quinn Quinn, Eden called her Baby Sister for the first few weeks:) 

Quinn was very alert from the moment she was born!  She is always looking around and taking everything in.  

Quinn is a little stink because she loves to sleep on her side and tummy!  The second I place her on her back she wakes up.  She is such a snuggler though and we are loving every minute of it!

This time around breast feeding is so much easier.  It is amazing what a difference it makes when your baby has a full tummy.  Quinn will actually fall asleep eating all of the time and waster her milk:)  We always tell her that her sister would have killed for this much milk.

Quinn Harper

Our sweet Quinn is 1 week old today! I can't believe how fast time is going by. We loving having her here! She is such a sweet little baby. Here are a few pictures at the hospital & at home. 

Here is the face of a women 38 weeks pregnant who is in early labor at 11pm at night when the doctor tells her she is only dilated to a 1 and needs to go home.

Here is the face of a women who is 38 weeks pregnant a day and half later who is dilated to a 5, had been admitted to the hospital and had just received her epidural.

I was admitted at 7:30 a.m. and Quinn was born at 12:42p.m. I barley had to push.  This labor was a breeze compared to my labor with Eden

We think she is pretty perfect!

Big Sister Eden opening her present that her baby sister brought her.

This was such an ice breaker for E.  She wasn't quite sure about the hospital and her baby sister right when she got to our recovery room but once she opened her present she was so excited about baby sister.

Sweetest moment when Eden held Quinn for the first time! 

She said "I'm holding baby sister, oh cute, I love you baby sister"  

Melt my heart!

Can't believe we are a family of 4!
