Lake Merritt Boat Day

Brady found out that Lake Merritt was having a free paddle boat rental day over the weekend.  We took advantage of the beautiful weather over in Oakland and enjoyed a FREE paddle boat ride around Lake Merritt.

We enjoyed our 30 minute paddle boat ride very much!

We stopped by the playground that was right next to the lake.  

Eden had many different emotions on the swings:)

Eden and Brady had tons of fun going to all the different slides.

On our way to our car we passed the Fairyland park.  This is a little amusement park over in Oakland that is filled with storybook characters and rides.  

To make our afternoon complete we stopped into Nations for some hamburgers and french fries.  We'd never been there before and the food was just ok, but the rest of our afternoon was fantastic!

First Weekend of Summer

After graduation we had the most beautiful weekend of weather! 

 It was actually a little too hot:)  We celebrated graduation and family being in town by taking in the best of San Francisco sights.

I couldn't believe how many people were there!

I forgot to pack Eden's sun hat so I improvised by making a hat out of her pants:)

7 Months

 

Eden turned 7 months today.  

This little lady keeps getting sweeter and sweeter!

 Eden stats are around:

Weight: 15 pounds

Height: 26.5 inches

 

Some of her new talents are:
 

1. Started eating rice cereal in the beginning of June

2. Said DaDa on June 13th
3. Gives kisses when asked
4. Drinks through straws
5. Figured out her sippy cup
6. Rocks back and forth on hands and knees (any day she's going to crawl)
7. LOVES her Charlie Hope CD
8. Expanded her diet to carrots, sweet potatoes, prunes, bananas, and apples
9. Likes to sit up on her bath mat in the tub and play with her toys
10.Started making some new faces (super funny)

Eden is so good at soothing herself to sleep with her thumb.

I have a feeling we are going to have a hard time breaking her of this habit :)

 

Eden and Lilly are becoming little buddies.

Conservatory of Flowers

For the 4th of July we went and used our library pass to see the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.
