Carmel By the Sea

Over Memorial Day weekend Brady and I went down to Carmel. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We had a wonderful time seeing all the beautiful sights!

On our way down we stopped by this amazing beach that our friends told us about.
You hike down a little path and then get to this beautiful beach that is surrounded by cliffs that block the wind and keeps you nice and toasty:)

After making a little detour to the secret beach we finally made our way to Carmel.

We stopped in the park for a little picnic.

After lunch we started the beautiful 17 mile drive.
AMAZING!!!

1. Bird Rock

2. White Sand Beach

3. Spyglass Golf Course

Brady was in heaven with all the amazing golf courses.

4. Cypress Point Golf Club
The greens are immaculate!

5. Crocker Grove "Oldest Cypress Tree"

6. The Lone Cypress

7. Pebble Beach

Lookout on the 17 mile drive
After the 17 mile drive Brady and I walked Ocean Avenue in downtown Carmel, stopped by the Cottage of Sweets:) and finished the walk at the beach.
We will definitely be back to Carmel soon!

Weekend with Ty

Last weekend my sister made the long drive to San Fran with a friend for a visit. It was a short trip, but we had a lot of fun!
Thanks for coming Ty!

We went to Off the Grid at Fort Mason

Off the Grid has all the best gourmet food vendors in one place.!

We had a hard time deciding which foods to try.

They also had live music.

We ended up trying some dumplings for an appetizer.
Then Ty and I split this burrito that Brady found that had french fries in it.
AMAZING!

So many people showed up. I'm glad we went a little early. The lines got pretty long.

The even had a little creme brulee stand:)

View from just up the hill in Fort Mason.
Love SAN FRAN!

After eating we walked over to the Palace of Fine Arts and walked around.

We've never been there before at night time. It was breath taking!

Saturday morning Brady made us his FAMOUS french toast.
YUM!!!

Then we went to the Beach.
Lilly loved running around the beach with her cousins.

Ty with all the pups.
Titus, Gidget, and Lilly.

Love you Ty!

Seattle Adventures

A while back Brady and I went up to Seattle to visit with my mom, Lane, and Tyree. We celebrated a late Christmas, ate delicious food and some truly amazing coconut no-bake cookies. We had a great weekend full of adventures, some good and not so good:)

The three girls!
Miss them soooo much!

After dinner one night:
We thought it would be fun to take some action shots on these stairs. We spent a good half hour or more trying to capture the perfect actions shots:)

Yes Brady's feet hurt after he landed this one!

Me and Ty
Ty has always been the more timid sister:)
It took her a second to get up the nerves to jump.

The Fremont Troll aka Troll Under the Bridge
We've always driven by but never stopped to take pictures.

Just being silly

So if you're wondering why I'm standing next to three security guards and holding my purse well to make a long story short...
After dinner when we started to take our action shots by the stairs, I set my purse down (which also had my wallet and my sister's inside) by the bottom of the stairs. Then we left and started to drive home. We stopped at the Troll and took some more pictures then made our way home. As I was getting out of the car I realized that my purse wasn't by my feet. We had already been done with dinner for 2 hours and still had a half an hour drive back to the restaurant. Lucky girl that I am, we RAN up to the steps and found these 3 security guards just starring at my purse.
(Everything was there)
SUCH A BLESSING!!!!
