Oakland Temple

A month or so ago Brady and I went to the Oakland temple with some of our friends the Haynie's. It was such a beautiful day to go to the temple. We went to a later session, so by the time we were finished the sun was setting and we were able to see the skyline of San Francisco with the prettiest sunset in the background.

Happy Fourth of July

Happy 4th of July!

Brady and I had such a fun Independence Day. We went up to the Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon and had a BBQ with my family. We had delicious hamburgers, potato salad, and smores:) After lunch we went and played a little game of baseball with everyone. The field was a little over grown with itchy grass, but we still had such a good time. Our team the "Dominators" won. We went to Jordan High to watch fireworks and came home and lit some of our own. We are so grateful to live in this country that has so many blessings.

2 Years

2 years goes by when you're having fun:)

Brady and I have been married two years on June 29th. We are vacationing in North Carolina for Blake's graduation. To celebrate our anniversary we relaxed on the beach, boggie boarded in the ocean, and went to see the new transformer movie. I know we are very romantic:). We had such a great day! I love you so much Brady! Thanks for being such an amazing husband.

Happy Birthday to ME!

June 18^th was my special day!

I had such a GREAT birthday! I just want to say thank you sooooo much to all my family and friends for my great gifts and birthday wishes. I started the day by waking up to cute birthday streamers in my room put up by my cute husband. Then Brady and I went to this great little restaurant by our house for breakfast. They make the BEST hash browns! After breakfast I had to come home and get ready to go to school. I had my last final on my birthday. Good news is that I did really well on it! Also my friend Niki in my class made me the best cupcakes and my class sang happy birthday. When I got home from school and got to open a whole bunch of presents! Then Brady and I got ready and went to dinner at a little cute Italian restaurant in West Portal called Spiazzo’s. After dinner we went to see WICKED! It was AMAZING! I’m so happy we went. (Brady and I are in Utah and I forgot our camera, so pictures of my great day will have to follow a little latter) Really I had such a great birthday.

My Big Sis

I'm so happy to announce that my big sister Ty is ENGAGED!  She and Louis were in Washington D.C. last weekend and he popped the question.  I'm so happy for you Ty and Louis!  I can't wait to start the wedding planning. Love you!

Sunny Seattle

Over Memorial weekend Brady and I got to go up to Seattle (thanks Mom & Lane).  Almost every time we visit the Emerald City it is raining.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  It was beautiful and sunny all weekend long.  We got to relax in the yard, kayak around Lake Union, and BBQ.  It was so nice to take a break from school and enjoy the weather and our family:)

We went to a cute farmer's market in Ballard.  All around the market are really cute boutiques.  We found these adorable party hats in this one boutique.  The hats are called Tuzzie Muzzie.  

They were sooooo cute!  On my list of projects I want to complete.

Fun Weekend

My cute mom came to visit a couple of weeks ago.  We had so much fun!  We went out to the De Young Museum to see the Yves Saint Laurent exhibit.  It is so amazing!  Another day we drove down to Napa Valley.  All the mustard seed was out so there was fields and fields of yellow blossoms.  Thanks for coming mom, we love you!

My mom knew of a really neat antique store, that had this huge adirondack chair in front of it.  There was a sign not to take pictures but we couldn't resist.

It even has a real moat and drawbridge!
